These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PlantPal AI mobile application (“PlantPal AI,” “we,” “our,” or “the App”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of the App

PlantPal AI provides:

• Plant identification based on user-submitted images
• Plant disease and health diagnosis features
• AI-generated plant care advice through a chatbot

The App is intended for informational and educational purposes only.

2. User Content

a. Photos and Images

You may upload or take photos of plants using the App. You retain ownership of your content. By submitting images, you grant PlantPal AI a limited, non-exclusive license to process the content solely for providing App functionality.

You agree not to upload:

• Content you do not own or have permission to use
• Illegal, harmful, or offensive material
• Images unrelated to plants

b. Chatbot Interactions

You are responsible for the content of messages you submit to the AI chatbot. Do not submit unlawful or abusive content.

3. Use of AI Features

• PlantPal AI uses artificial intelligence to generate results.
• AI outputs may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for every situation.
• Plant identification, diagnosis, and care advice should not be treated as professional, agricultural, or scientific advice.
• You use AI-generated information at your own risk.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the App
• Abuse, overload, or disrupt App services

5. Intellectual Property

All App content, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to PlantPal AI and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or sell any part of the App without written permission.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services for AI processing or infrastructure. PlantPal AI is not responsible for third-party services or their content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App or AI outputs.

PlantPal AI does not guarantee:

• Correct plant identification
• Accurate diagnosis
• Successful plant care outcomes

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlantPal AI shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including:

• Incorrect plant identification or diagnosis
• Loss of plants or crops
• Indirect or consequential damages

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
